Revs. Cara and Matt Weiler will be leading a North Central Jurisdiction Volunteers In Mission - Mission Discovery team to Nova Almeida, Brazil, July 13-22, 2013. Applications are now being accepted to join this team - focused on youth and young adults (16+) to engage in mission and leadership development. Participants will work alongside youth and young adults from Brazil to work on construction and building projects of the local Methodist campgrounds while also engaging the children of the community through the local Shade and Fresh Water Project. Additionally, all participants will be walked through the Volunteer In Mission Leadership Guide so that upon return, not only will participants be prepared to share their own story and experience, but also to lead others to encounter their own mission experience and spiritual transformation.
